The scaffold safety training course covers the following subject areas:
- General Requirements, Scope, Application and Definitions
- Capacity and Platform Construction
- Competent Person for Scaffolding and Responsibilities
- Scaffold Inspection Requirements
- Arial Lifts
- Training Requirements
- Fall Protection for Scaffold Workers
- Protection from Falling Objects
- Controlled Access Zones (CAZ)
Specific safety requirements for the following types of scaffolding will be taught as necessary for the students in the classroom:
Catenary
Fabricated frame
Form and Carpenter Bracket
Interior Hung
Ladder Jack
Mobile
Needle Beam
Plasterers
Pump Jack
Repair Bracket
Roof Bracket
Step, Platform and Trestle Ladder
Suspension
Window Jack
Knowing the regulations regarding scaffolding may seem like a difficult task for construction workers. Our experienced instructors explain the requirements in layman’s terms, giving your employees the practical knowledge they need to keep everyone safe during scaffolding work. At HP&P Safety we don’t teach cookie-cutter classes. Each class is tailored to the students present for maximum effectiveness.
This course takes place over approximately 4 hours. Students receive a wallet card upon completion of the class.
